We invite you to join us in Adelaide from 30 October to 1 November 2013 for the next National Housing Conference—a new way home.
Convened by AHURI in partnership with Housing SA, the 8th National Housing Conference will provide a platform for sharing, debating, celebrating and promoting ideas in affordable housing research, policy and practice.
The renegotiation of a national funding agreement and a Federal election sees Australia’s national housing policy reform and debate at a critical juncture during 2013. This is the conference to participate in if you're interested in securing a better housing future, and given South Australia’s strong legacy in housing reform, Adelaide is a terrific place to host this important event.
The Adelaide conference will be the first (almost) paperless National Housing Conference, with program and other information available via a conference app. The app will also help make the conference the most interactive ever, enabling participants to vote on key issues and pose questions to session participants. We will also provide plenty of opportunities for more traditional interactions and informal conversations about the latest thinking in housing policy and practice.
Whatever your preferred style of conference participation, whatever your housing interests, the 8th National Housing Conference in Adelaide will provide a myriad of opportunities to learn, debate, solve problems and to be reinvigorated for the challenges ahead.
Join us in Adelaide as we celebrate our achievements, find solutions to our challenges, and meet with friends old and new from across Australia and the globe.
