National Housing Conference
The National Housing Conference is convened by the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute (AHURI) and is considered the leading housing meeting in Australia.
Introduction
The National Housing Conference aims to provide a platform for sharing, debating, celebrating and promoting ideas in affordable housing research, policy and practice and is a must attend event for anyone interested in innovative solutions and partnerships to guide Australia's future approach to affordable housing delivery. This includes policy-makers, housing and allied service providers, tenants, those working in the private sector, researchers, planners and staff from not-for-profit housing and homelessness organisations.
There have been seven previous National Housing Conferences held in 1999, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2012. The next will be convened in Adelaide by AHURI in partnership with Housing SA from Wednesday 30 October to Friday 1 November 2013.
